hi hi.. i'm just back from community service.. y i said 1st time le? coz in malaysia nvr done such kind of stuff before ma.. i join my hostel voluntary service.. visit the elderly ppl.. bring them food.. help them to clean up their houses... and talked to them.. frankly speaking, their house is really dirty and smelly.. (full of pee smell).. coz u have to understand they cant walk properly.. sum of them even cant see... n always heard them getting admitted to hospital.. so cham... this is really meaningful la.. coz nvr done be4 la... and u'll feel very satisfied.. coz the elderly ppl r really happy when we visit them..
moreover, the welfare for the elderly here is really good la.. compared to malaysia.. the food we bring for them is sponsored by one of the canteen in our U. then these old ppl they have no family.. or their family abandon them... so the welfare department of the government also got subsidize them lo.. like the electrical bills etc..
this is one of the good part of singapore.. hahahaha..

just to tell how poor are they... the conclusion is tat.. nvr leave ur parents like tat.. and treat ur wife/husband well in the future for they r the ones who acc u throughout ur life in the future.. each visit to the elderly ppl gives me a different kind of thinking bout out lives... it's really meaningful...
salute to ur contribution.... we as a mahasiswa shud contribute to our society.... lots of ppl in this world nid our help no matter in financial or mental or spiritual... it would b really great n meaningful to join those community service society, such as tzu chi youth~~~~
oh ya .. forgot to add one more thing... that was your first contribution to society and itwas in Singapore ... =.="
